How Does Reduced Anxiety Dentistry Work?
How does relaxation dentistry work? At Premier Dental Care, we use safe, minimal oral sedation dentistry techniques. Prior to treatment, a mild sedation pill will ease you into a comfortable state of relaxation, and you’ll also breathe a safe combination of oxygen and nitrous oxide (“laughing gas”). During treatment, we will carefully and continuously monitor your responsiveness, blood pressure, and oxygen level. At the end of the appointment, you’ll feel very comfortable, with little memory of the visit, and a companion will drive you home.
Multiple procedures can be performed in one visit in a Comfortable, Relaxed Setting. Often patients with anxieties about dental treatments avoid seeing a dentist for many years, and as a consequence, need quite a bit of dental care. Our oral relaxation techniques mean you can have years of dental work done quickly, with little or no discomfort. We can replace crowns or dentures, restore sore gums to good health, whiten yellow or stained teeth, fix a chipped tooth, and more. Because you will be completely comfortable, we can perform years worth of dental treatments in just one or two visits. People with very busy schedules can get the dental care they need, easily and quickly.
